Please join us for the MARYLAND FREEDOM CONFERENCE to learn and discuss how communities and individuals can not only REACT to the atrocity of human trafficking but also how to RESPOND. The Maryland Human Trafficking Task Force in partnership with the Baltimore County Commission for Women, the Governor’s Office of Crime Control & Prevention, and the Baltimore County Human Relations Commission are challenging members of every Maryland community to help restore FREEDOM to victims of human trafficking and END THIS atrocity in our state!

- Is there a cost to attend?
No. This event is free and open to all who desire to see an end to human trafficking. - Can I bring my children?
Considering the mature content of the conference, children are unable to attend. If you have minors 15 and above, they are welcome to attend with a parent or legal guardian. The legal guardian will be asked to sign a consent form when checking in with the minor. - Is this a training?
No, this is not a training. This is a public awareness event that will inform the public how they can engage in anti-trafficking efforts. Information about prevention training for adults and children, as well as volunteer equipping training, will be discussed during the conference. - If I come, is there any obligation to volunteer?
No. This is a chance for you to understand the issue of human trafficking and explore if and how you can get involved. Our hope is that everyone will leave feeling moved to act in a variety of ways. - What type of human trafficking is the focus of this conference?
This conference will provide general awareness for the community regarding commercial sex and labor trafficking. Participants will learn about trafficking trends in Maryland and how to respond to incidences of human trafficking across the region. - Will anti-trafficking organizations be present?
Yes. Several organizations that serve on the Maryland Human Trafficking Task Force Victim Services Committee will be present to discuss how their organizations engage the community in their work.
